One man, with one idea of shooting many different people in one lift came to life in the documentary. The lives and personalties of many different people are demonstrated in a stylish light throughout the short clip of people's lives. People show their thoughts and natural reactions through little actions, for example a man offers the film maker a banana, thinking he may be hungry after being in the lift all day. A lady lights a cigarette on camera and many many others don't even enter the lift as the man is filming.
It's an interesting outlook and twist on people's lives.
The lift is an interesting short documentary about people who take a lift to get around their everyday lives. In my opinion, I thought the lift was an interesting concept of film making because it showed how different people react on camera and how people behave in general.
